Privacy Policy
How EndBill collects, uses, and protects information
This Privacy Policy describes how EndBill ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our invoicing and business management platform ("Service").
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:
- Account information such as name, email address, password, role, and business affiliation
- Business data you enter, including customers, invoices, services, expenses, recurring schedules, notes, and payment-related settings
- Customer portal information for customers who are given portal access
- Integration data when you connect third-party services such as QuickBooks Online, including OAuth tokens and imported accounting records
- Technical information such as browser type, IP address, timestamps, and basic usage logs needed to operate and secure the Service
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and secure the Service
- Authenticate users and enforce role-based access
- Import, store, and display business records you choose to manage in the Service
- Send transactional emails such as invoices or account-related notices when enabled
- Support integrations you authorize, including QuickBooks Online import and connection
- Respond to support requests and protect against fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access
3. QuickBooks and other integrations
If you connect QuickBooks Online, we store connection credentials and imported data needed to provide the integration. We access QuickBooks only with your authorization and according to the permissions granted during the OAuth connection process. You can disconnect QuickBooks from within the Service, which removes the local connection record and revokes access where supported by the integration.
Third-party platforms process information under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review Intuit's privacy practices when using QuickBooks Online.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only:
- With service providers that help us host, email, or operate the Service, under confidentiality obligations
- With third-party integrations you explicitly authorize, such as QuickBooks Online
- Within your business account, according to user roles and permissions you control
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate safeguards
5. Data retention
We retain account and business data for as long as your account or business records remain active in the Service, or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Integration tokens are retained only while a connection remains active unless a longer period is required for security or audit purposes.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices
Depending on your role, you may:
- Update profile and business information within the Service
- Manage users and access for your business
- Disconnect third-party integrations such as QuickBooks
- Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information where applicable
8. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
